Lyrics

How many of us actually listen to the lyrics when we listen to music? I know I dont much because I generally use it as a background so as long as its pleasing to my ear I don't think about it. Sometimes I have even been guilty of singing along without realizing what the words were. Well once in a while I do listen to the words and then the song takes on a new meaning altogether. There are some songs which are just stupid or have pervy lyrics - which you then remeber not to sing out loud. Then there are really deep meaning songs like "Blowing in the wind"-Bob Dylan, and especially those by U2, which now you want to realy listen to the meanings. There are also songs like "Seasons in the sun" - Westlife/somebody else and "Hazard" - Richard Marx, for example which have a happy sounding melody which you could be humming along till you listen hard and realize are about death and such.
